totally certified...commence choking
As of yesterday afternoon I am officially a Red Cross certified professional rescuer. Now I am not only certified to "wipe ass", but you can also feel free to choke in my presence. Seriously though, the course was long (7hrs!) but with the updates they've made to some old info., I feel much better prepared to act in an emergency than the last time I was certified. AND since this was the "professional" course, they gave me my own RES-CUE mask. Sweeeeeeet.

Congrats Amy! That is awesome. Please tell they didn't update "Annie Annie, are you okay?" That would make me sad, and also make Smooth Criminal make less sense.
I'm happy to report that step 2 with an unconcious victim still includes taping the victim and asking "are you okay?" :)
SWEEEEEEEET. Nice work Amy. My sister works for R.C., and those masks are perfect for the germ-a-phob like myself!
