The New Arcade Fire

The new Arcade Fire is insanely good. You should run out and get it today. If you like that kind of thing. Love it. You might of seen them on SNL a few weeks ago. This was the band with the REALLY intense lead singer who looks a lot like Wil Forte, and smashed his guitar that had a Haitian expression written on it in tape. I would link to youtube - but SNL is ridic. about pulling down content.

Also amazing: new Shins, Bloc Party, Of Montreal. Good stuff. What are you listening to these days that everyone should hear?

i hope that there album wasn't anything like the SNL performance, at least the first song they did, or at least the first minute of the first song. reminded me of the time i saw bright eyes on austin city limits...whiny and boring, seemed to drone on. thank you dvr. but thats my opinion. and my opinion of most new music...nothing that really grabs me. but i guess i shouldn't form an opinion around an SNL performance, as most of them (this season's beck, excluded) are absolute shite.

I've been enjoying Beck "the information", The Postmarks self-titled album (thanks Dutch!), and the cd "Bach by popular demand" which I picked up from my mom this weekend. That title...hilarious...fo real.

the classic "yes" album - 90125 is still amazing.
