GTP,
I have assembled the following list of houses that were the result of our Monday night search. I have numbered them. I would encourage you to keep searching on your own and add anything you find to this list via comments and noting them with the next sequential number so that things will be easier when it comes time to vote.
The date of this trip will of course depend on several factors but please try to nail down when you and/or your sig+ot can attend. The dates currently in play are the week of May 6-12, May 13-19, 20-26 (memorial day weekend at the end) or dates at the end of the summer. I would really like it if we could decide on a date that works the best for the most GTP members.

Again, first we need your preferred dates. Then, please add links if you find other places to stay , number them accordingly and then I will ask for your top 3 picks in 3-5 days. We'll just cross reference everyone's preferred dates, tallied votes on houses and their availability and hopefully a few choices will rise to the top. Pure madness I tell you...madness.

I can do any week. It is preferable to be home for Monther's Day, but if that time works better for everyone else, that's fine

Sorry to be a pain, but I am adding a requirement, IF FEASIBLE, sorry. I'd love high speed internet access! Or at least to know I can get it somewhere pretty close by.
nearly all of these places have HSIA if i remember correctly, Tina. Change your votes if needed...but remember...work is for suckers. this is vacation.
my vote for the week is based on the places (below) but basically the last two weeks would work for me.
1 - #12... price is the same for 19th-25th (sat. to sat.) so that week would be my first choice. this would be a new place - outer banks, sleeps 16 and 5.5 baths!!!
2 - three-way tie between #1, #7 and #8. #1 seemed fun and on the beach although it would be Hilton Head again. #7 is kick-ass but were we really interested in $4000/week? #8, it sounds sweet - but without any pics i can't endorse 100%.
3 - #11... looked cool. is everyone good with a drive to alabama? plus only the 19th-25th is still available.

I like 12 the best (it IS north carolina). I really like the looks of 11 as well. I have no issue around dates.
My favorites are #4 in Hilton Head and #12, 13 and 14 in the Outer Banks. I don't have any date conflicts either.

Cathleen's top vote goes to #7 with a priority on its location (she can visit her sisters if we visit St. Simon). Her second vote goes to #3.

Summer is sooooo busy at work. not sure if I'll be able to get away or not, so I don't want to put a vote in. I'm cool with anywhere - anytime and hopefully I'll be able to make a few days.
I am cool with 12 as well.
It appears as though the voting on the above properties should be considered CLOSED. By my count, #12 leads with five votes, #'s 11, 3 and 4 are second with three votes each.
I would like to get everyone together who plans on attending vacation, in part or in full, to discuss the vote and our options so we can get this formalized and reservations set.
Monday, March 5 is a GTP dinner date. I propose to meet and spend a small portion of the evening discussing the vacation plans. I hope you can all attend.
