So last night's LOST episode. Wow. Were you guys lovin' it? I have to say, I was really glad to be back on the big island with some of the old characters. (But a bit more John Locke and Sayid next time would be good.) Anyway, I thought the Desmond back story was awesome. Is he friggin crazy? Was it just a concussion? Or has he been mysteriously transported in time??? Ooooo!!!
Whatever the case may be, I'm just not convinced they're going to kill off Charlie. I mean, Charlie is super annoying and everything, but he's a main character. But Demo's convinced. He says that since the show has a definite ending (either next season or season five) these characters aren't designed to live forever.
Thoughts? Observations? Did I miss anything???

Amy - I forgot you watched LOST. Holy is right. It was awesome. Desmond (see you in another life brutha) is an awesome character.
Was it redemption for the "only great thing he would ever do" - pushing the button? Is his gift punishment for not trying to change the future? (punishment in terms of knowing the future and not being able to change it forever). AWESOME.
Charlie is done. Good twist...I thought it was going to be Claire.
Did you see the Polar Bear painting in Penne's fathers office? Symbols over his bed in his flat?
This show is awesome.
There were a ton of hidden "easter eggs" in that episode. It was great.
When the old lady started to yell at him - awesome!
I agree Charlie is a goner but I think they won't do anything about it for a while so we kind of forget about it and then bam - Dead.
you guys bring up great points! (and we'll have to start a "viewing party" bc I totally missed all of those hidden symbols!)
AG-I think the "punishment theory" is way interesting, and it definitely leads me to believe that there is some mastermind (scientist) at work in the lives of these people.
Lear-I'm with you on Charlie. They won't kill him right away. It will be like the season finale or something.
Thank goodness at least one show is back on the up and up!
